The Ultimate Chicken & Bacon Salad Blend

A salad that makes you forget it’s a salad?

Yes, it exists.

With bold flavors, crisp textures, and a dressing so good you’ll want to bottle it, this Chicken & Bacon Salad Blend will steal the spotlight at any meal.

Ingredients:

The Salad Base

• 3 cups baby spinach

• 2 cups arugula and romaine mix

• 1 cup shredded chicken (leftover roast chicken works like a charm)

• 4 strips crispy bacon, crumbled (don’t skimp on the crispiness)

• 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

• 1/3 cup sliced cucumbers (bonus: they’re super hydrating)

• 1/4 cup toasted pecans (because crunch is everything)

The Dressing

• 1 or 2 tbsp Arts N’ Blends Cucumber Dill

• 1/2 cup mayonnaise

• 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt

• 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (zest optional but encouraged)

Steps to Salad Glory

1. Prepare the Salad Base:

• Wash and dry 3 cups of baby spinach, 2 cups of arugula, and romaine. Chop them into bite-sized pieces if needed and place them in a large bowl.

• Use 1 cup of cooked, shredded chicken. If you don’t have leftovers, season a chicken breast with salt and pepper, bake it at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes, then shred with a fork.

• Cook 4 strips of bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Place the bacon on paper towels to absorb excess grease, then crumble it into small pieces.

• Slice 1/2 cup of cherry tomatoes in half and 1/3 cup of cucumbers into thin rounds.

• Add 1/4 cup of toasted pecans (toast them in a dry pan over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until fragrant).

2. Make the Dressing:

• In a small mixing bowl, combine 1 or 2 tbsp of Arts N’ Blends Cucumber Dill Mix, 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt, and 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice. Whisk until smooth and creamy.

• Let the dressing rest for 5 minutes to let the flavors meld beautifully.

3. Assemble & Serve:

• Drizzle the dressing over the salad ingredients in the bowl. Use tongs or a large spoon to toss everything together until the dressing coats every piece evenly.

• Alternatively, arrange the salad ingredients in layers, drizzle with the dressing, and serve as a showstopper centerpiece.

With each bite, you’ll taste smoky bacon, savory chicken, and a tangy dressing that ties it all together. Even novice cooks will feel like pros. Bon appétit!
