Tutorial: Breads!

Ingredients:

• 1 Bottle of any beer (substitute with soda or carbonated drink). We recommend Yuengling beer for great flavor. Root Beer and Dr. Pepper are great substitutes, too!

• 1/4 Stick of melted butter.

• 1 Packet of your favorite Arts n’ Blends beer bread mix

Directions:

  1. Combine the Mix and Beer

    In a large bowl, pour the beer bread mix and 12 ounces of beer (room temperature works best). Gently fold the mixture together until just combined. Avoid overmixing – a slightly lumpy texture is perfect for this rustic bread!

  2. Prepare the Pan

    Grease a 9” x 5” bread pan with butter to prevent sticking. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it out evenly.

  3. Add Butter for a Golden Top

    Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in the microwave – you’ll add this to the bread before it comes out of the oven for a deliciously buttery crust.

  4. Bake to Perfection

    Preheat your oven to 350°F. Bake the bread for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  5. Finishing Touches and Serve

    Once baked, remove the bread from the oven. Allow it to cool slightly, then slice and enjoy!
